HERITAGE What happens when a bunch of musicians contribute individually to a background track – without being able to hear what the others are playing? Is it possible to piece together something worth listening to? The idea came up in the spring of 2020, when the corona pandemic limited the possibility to meet and play together. The instructions were simple. Play whatever you want and send me the audio file. 34 musicians took the challenge. The result is 22 minutes of imaginative music, weaved together from different ideas and musical heritages but still forming a mighty whole.
